Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 1601 Dekalb Avenue in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Located between Irving Avenue and Wyckoff Avenue, the lot is steps from the Dekalb Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train. Camber Property Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 88-foot-tall development will yield 104,782 square feet, with 90,444 square feet designated for residential space and 10,000 square feet for commercial use. The building will have 128 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 706 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard. Previous renderings show more space allocated to residential as well as an enclosed 46-car garage.
Ariel Aufgang of Aufgang Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
