Permits have been filed for a 20-story mixed-use building at 77 East 118th Street in Harlem. Located at the intersection of Park Avenue and East 118th Street, the corner lot is near the 116th Street station serviced by the 6 train and a short walk to the 125th Street station, serviced by the 4, 5, and 6 trains. BFC Partners is listed as the owner behind the applications, also filling for permits for the 72 East 120th Street in the neighborhood.
The proposed 216-foot-tall development will yield 233,246 square feet, with 169,053 square feet designated for residential space and 3,133 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 202 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 836 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and 93 enclosed parking spaces.
Marvel Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
