Recently filed applications submitted to the city’s Department of Buildings reveal a newly proposed five-story residential development at 118 Waverly Avenue in Brooklyn. Located near the northern boundary of Clinton Hill, the structure will replace an existing two-story parking garage.
That development team includes CVpartners, which reportedly purchased the property in 2019 for some $8 million in a sale represented by Dan Marks of TerraCRG. Permits also reveal that CVpartners has commissioned Brooklyn-based designed studio Loadingdock5 as executive architect.
When complete, the building’s total footprint will measure 19,984 square feet. The residential component will support 16 units averaging approximately 1,249 square feet apiece. Given those measurements, the development could debut as a condominium property, but this has not been confirmed by the project team. The permits also specify construction of an enclosed parking component designed to accommodate nine vehicles.
The project team has not revealed when construction is expected to break down or be completed.
