Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 571 Ocean Parkway in Kensington, Brooklyn. Located between Ditmas Avenue and Avenue F, the interior lot is a five-minute walk to the Ditmas Avenue subway station, serviced by the F train. Leonid Bogomolniy under the 170 Laco LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 85-foot-tall development will yield 24,438 square feet, with 20,654 square feet designated for residential space and 734 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 29 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 712 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Zarina Kindo of Kindo Holdings is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
