Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 3082 Villa Avenue in Bedford Park, Brooklyn. Located between Bedford Park Boulevard and East 204th Street, the interior lot is one block from the Bedford Park Boulevard subway station, serviced by the B and D trains. Ramani Mariappan under the 860 Investors LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 74-foot-tall development will yield 38,600 square feet, with 34,295 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 55 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 624 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Victor Suben of VS Consulting Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in June 2020 for a single-story residential building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
