The affordable housing lottery has launched for 379 Harman Street, a five-story residential building in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The 25,477-square-foot development is designed by Chares Mallea and yields 32 units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are four units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $65,109 to $167,570.
Amenities include a garage, a shared laundry room, bike storage lockers, and a rooftop terrace. Residences will have energy-efficient appliances and air conditioning. Some units will have private outdoor space.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there are three one-bedrooms with a $1,899 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $65,109 to $139,620, and one two-bedroom with a $2,200 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $75,429 to $167,570.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than June 4, 2021.
