Permits have been filed for a 12-story mixed-use building at 219 West 125th Street in Harlem, Manhattan. Located between Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard and Frederick Douglass Boulevard, the lot is within walking distance of several subway lines, including A, B, C, D, 2, and 3 trains. BBM Construction Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 134-foot-tall development will yield 31,008 square feet, with 26,864 square feet designated for residential space and 4,144 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 37 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 726 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Genaro Urueta Inc. is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
