Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 126 Hester Street in Chinatown, Manhattan. Located between Chrystie Street and Bowery, the lot is one block south of the Grand Street subway station, serviced by the B and D trains. Ruoxu You under the Fortune Assets LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 14,427 square feet, with 8,303 square feet designated for residential space, 5,839 square feet for commercial space, and 284 square feet for community facility space. The building will have eight residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,037 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar.

Issac & Stern Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
