The affordable housing lottery has launched for 46 Stockholm Street, a four-story residential building in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Designed by Infocus Design & Planning and developed by Benno Schubert under the Hiline Gardens LLC, the structure yields six residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are two units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $84,000 to $187,330.
Residences come with hardwood floors, energy-efficient appliances, storage, and air conditioning. Tenants are responsible for electricity including hot water and heat, and gas for cooking.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there is one one-bedroom with a monthly rent of $2,450 for incomes ranging from $84,000 to $156,130 and one two-bedroom with a monthly rent of $3,211 for incomes ranging from $110,092 to $187,330. New residents get two months free rent for the two-bedroom unit and one month free rent for the one-bedroom unit.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than February 8, 2023.
