Permits have been filed to expand a three-story community facility to a six-story residential building at 100 South 9th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Bedford Avenue and Berry Street, the interior lot is near the Marcy Avenue subway station, serviced by the J, M, and Z trains. Michael Weitzman of Spearhead Contracting LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 32,999 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 45 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 733 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 15-foot-long rear yard, and seven enclosed parking spaces.

Archimaera Architecture is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for an expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
