GoodVets, a national veterinary clinic, will open its first Brooklyn location at 125 Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights. The ground-floor commercial space comprises 2,900 square feet and formerly housed an Ann Taylor Loft retail store.
When complete, the clinic will feature five exam rooms, a small waiting area, and an indoor comfort room for patients.
The brand’s premiere New York location at 544 Hudson Street in the West Village is expected to debut in August. The Brooklyn Heights clinic will not debut until spring 2024.
“It is an urban community of passionate pet owners that are underserved in quality veterinarians practicing truly modern medicine,” said GoodVets COO David Saginur in a statement for New York Business Journal. “Whether out with their dog at Brooklyn Bridge Park or Sunday brunch, the residents of Brooklyn Heights live an active lifestyle with their pets.”
Tether Advisors represented GoodVets in the deal. Midwood Investment & Development, the current building owner, was represented by Capricorn Retail Advisors.
