Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 654 Madison Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Malcolm X Boulevard and Stuyvesant Avenue, the interior lot is closest to the Kosciuszko Street subway station, serviced by the J train. Solomon Schwimmer of Twin Group Associates is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 26,058 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 38 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 685 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have 15 open parking spaces and four enclosed parking spaces.
Leandro Nils Dickson Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
