Permits have been filed for a five-story mixed-use building at 215 Rockaway Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Rockaway Avenue and Pacific Street, the corner lot is three blocks from the Rockaway Avenue subway station, serviced by the A and C trains. Clement Familusi of CF Assoc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 45-foot-tall development will yield 13,234 square feet, with 9,656 square feet designated for residential space and 3,578 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 14 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 689 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, seven open parking spaces, and seven enclosed parking spaces.
Akeeb Shekoni of Askon Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
