Permits have been filed for a five-story mixed-use building at 206 Ditmas Avenue in Kensington, Brooklyn. Located between East 2nd Street and East 3rd Street, the lot is one block east of the Ditmas Avenue subway station, serviced by the F train. Joseph Frank of 214 Ditmas LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 21,400 square feet, with 14,049 square feet designated for commercial space and 7,350 square feet for community facility space. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, 27 enclosed parking spaces, and a few rooftop terraces.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
