Turkevi Center’s Glass Curtain Wall Continues to Rise at 821 First Avenue in Midtown East

Façade work on the Turkevi Center at 821 First Avenue in the Midtown East neighborhood of Turtle Bay is taking shape. Located at the intersection of East 46th Street and First Avenue, the topped-out reinforced concrete skyscraper rises 563 feet and will eventually serve as the consulate of the Republic of Turkey. Turkevi Center Tops Out at 821 First Avenue in Midtown

The Turkevi Center has topped out at 821 First Avenue in the Midtown East neighborhood of Turtle Bay. Work on the curving, sloped crown of the 563-foot-tall consulate for the Republic of Turkey is currently underway. Perkins Eastman is the designer of the 35-story mixed-use skyscraper, which will yield about 102,000 square feet of commercial space on the first 15 floors and house 20 apartments for residents and staff starting on the 20th floor.
