As development in Brooklyn pushes further east, apartment buildings are slowly filling the sleepy triangular piece of Bed Stuy known as Ocean Hill, near Broadway Junction in East New York. A tipster has sent YIMBY a rendering for one such development, a 32-unit building at 1325 Herkimer Street.
Brownstoner noticed concrete is up two stories at 168-180 Franklin Avenue, in northwestern Bedford-Stuyvesant, where Adam America and the Horizon Group are constructing a five-story, 118-unit luxury residential building, which was revealed by YIMBY last summer. Issac & Stern Architects is designing, and completion is expected in the spring of 2016.
Just about one year ago, YIMBY reported on permits for a new six-story residential building at 75 Ralph Avenue, in Brooklyn’s Bed-Stuy. Now, we can reveal the project, which will be surprisingly attractive; Charles Mallea is the architect, and Solomon Feder of 75 Ralph LLC is the developer.
