Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 30-82 Crescent Street in Astoria, Queens. Located between 30th Drive and 31st Avenue, the interior lot is four blocks from the 30th Avenue subway station, serviced by the N and W trains. Robert Cerrone under the 25-24 30th Drive LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
As New York City’s coastal communities continue to rebuild from Hurricane Sandy, new filings for another project being build under the “Build It Back” program have surface at 54 Noel Avenue, in Brooklyn’s Gerritsen Beach. The site is currently occupied by a two-story house, for which demolition permits have not yet been filed. It will be replaced by another two-story and two-family home, totaling 1,402 square feet, with a design by Angelo Costa, of Meltzer/Costa Associates. David Luna is listed as the developer.
Another cluster of two-story homes in Astoria are set to bite the dust for a seven-story apartment building. Developer Park Construction Corp. has filed plans to build a 56-unit project at 21-13 31st Avenue, between 21st and 23rd Streets.
