Permits have been approved for a new ten-story affordable senior housing development at 105 West Tremont Avenue in Morris Heights, The Bronx. Designed by Crown Architecture and developed by Crown Holdings in partnership with The Community Builders, the project will deliver 97 affordable homes for older adults and support aging in place with on-site services. Crown Architecture & Consulting is the architect of record for the Passive House-engineered development, which will prioritize energy efficiency, indoor comfort, and reduced carbon emissions with solar array on the rooftop and a fully-electric system.
