Mixed-Use Commercial Conversion Of Two-Story Warehouse At 99 Scott Avenue, East Williamsburg

Bushwack Capital is converting the two-story, 22,675 square-foot warehouse at 99 Scott Avenue, in southern East Williamsburg, into a mixed-use commercial building, according to Commercial Observer. The building will house two office tenants, a restaurant, winery, beer garden and event hall. The conversion will complete this October, and tenants will construct their spaces for a mid-2016 opening. The $1 million project is being crowdfunded through CityFunders, and Kossar + Garry Architects is the architect of record.

Four Stories, Eight Residential Units Coming To 220 Withers Street, Williamsburg

Sheepshead Bay-based BK Developers Inc. has filed applications for two four-story, four-unit residential buildings at 220-222 Withers Street, in northern Williamsburg, four blocks north of the L train’s stop at Graham Avenue. Eight residential units will spread across 10,102 square feet, for an average unit measuring 1,263 square feet. Igor Zaslavskiy’s Sheepshead Bay-based Zproekt Architecture is designing, and permits were filed earlier this month to demolish existing single- and two-story homes.

Six-Story, 14-Unit Mixed-Use Building At 263 Bedford Avenue Lands Retail Tenant, Williamsburg

Late last year, John Hermanowski’s six-story, 14-unit mixed-use building topped out at 263 Bedford Avenue, in northwestern Williamsburg, and now the building has landed a retail tenant, according to Commercial Observer. Martha’s Country Bakery will take 3,300 square feet of space on the ground floor, and an additional 4,000 square feet in the cellar. The residential units above will spread across 18,265 square feet of space, for average units of 1,305 square feet. The bakery will open in early 2016 once the building finishes, and Jung Wor Chin is the architect of record.
