ODA Architecture filed a new building application earlier today for the 25-unit mixed-use development at 169 Graham Avenue.
Over a year ago, WyckoffHeights.org got the first look at this unusual expansion for a two-story warehouse at 482 Seneca Avenue in Ridgewood. Now YIMBY has new renderings for the project, a planned enlargement into a four-story apartment building.
An LLC has filed applications for a four-story, six-unit residential building at 267 Ainslie Street, in eastern Williamsburg, two blocks south of the L’s Graham Avenue stop. The structure will measure 5,000 square feet in total, which works out to units averaging roughly 835 square feet in size. An existing two-story, 1,650 square-foot townhouse must first be demolished, and Woody Chen’s InFocus is the applicant of record.
Williamsburg-based developer Cayuga Capital is converting old buildings all over Brooklyn to apartments, from a Bushwick church to a steel factory on North 4th Street. Now YIMBY has a rendering of their latest venture, which will transform an old garage at 600 Bushwick Avenue into apartments and retail. The revamped structure will gain four stories and 64 rental units.
In December 2014, YIMBY reported on filings for mid-rise residential towers at 420 Kent Avenue, in western Williamsburg on the East River, and now The New York Times has renderings of Spitzer Enterprises’ development. The ODA-designed project will include three 24-story towers totaling 856 rental units and a public park. Filings show the buildings will also have retail space, and low-rise warehouse buildings must first be demolished.
