Twin Three-Story, Two-Family Houses Coming to 899 Sinclair Avenue, Woodrow, Staten Island

Staten Island-based CCI Builders Corp. has filed applications for twin three-story, two-family houses at 899-903 Sinclair Avenue, located on the corner of Foster Road in Woodrow, a neighborhood along Staten Island’s South Shore. The buildings will measure 4,489 square feet each. Across both, the residential units should average a family-sized 1,625 square feet apiece. There will also be a total of six off-street parking spaces, two of which will be housed in built-in garages. Stanley M. Krebushevski’s Staten Island-based firm is the architect of record. The 11,050-square-foot plot is occupied by a single-story house. Demolition permits have not been filed.

Construction is underway on the 33rd floor of the 41-story, 223-unit mixed-use building under development at 38-46 West 33rd Street, in Midtown South. Progress on the structure, which includes façade installation, can be seen thanks to photos posted to the YIMBY Forums. The latest building permits indicate the tower, upon completion, will encompass 220,724 square feet and rise 404 feet to its upper roof, not including bulkhead elements.

Within the past few weeks, Long Island-based American Equity Partners filed applications and began the approval process to convert the 12-story, 350,000-square-foot office building at 440 Hamilton Avenue, located on the corner of North Broadway in downtown White Plains, into 245 residential units. A rendering of the project has also been revealed by the Westchester County Business Journal.
