Here are more photos taken from the restaurant at the Club Quarters Hotel. The best part of the restaurant is definitely the view, which gives a great perspective of the entire World Trade Center site. As you can see, the 9/11 Memorial is looking fantastic. Many of the trees looked as if they were dying last year, but this summer has shown a marked improvement in the memorial’s greenery.
175 Greenwich Street is also visible in the photos. Both the building and the future Greenwich Street are coming along quite nicely, although Silverstein’s inability to secure a tenant means that construction beyond the building’s podium is at a halt. Still, over a year is left before the building’s future would be in jeopardy, as extensive work is required before even the podium is completed.
