The first residential to rise as part of Fordham’s Lincoln Center campus redevelopment is now well above ground level. As of the last update, work on the basement levels of 160 West 62nd was still underway–the tower is now roughly four floors above the street.
Even with the amount of progress, no renderings of the completed tower have been released yet. There is however an image along the project’s side with a rendering of the finished base, which gives an idea as to what the entire tower will look like. It certainly doesn’t appear to be glassy, which is definitely a good thing given the number of banal glass boxes currently rising in New York.
