Minor work is ongoing at One57. A small red crane is now visible on the building’s roof, and it seems to be working on further dismantling the remaining elements of the larger crane that was damaged in Hurricane Sandy—no small task when you’re 1,000 feet above the ground. The roof element of One57 remains unfinished, and until a new crane capable of heavy lifting goes in at the top, the tower will remain incomplete.
