5241 Independence Avenue: Applications have been filed to construct a three-story and single-family mansion of 4,961 square feet at the vacant lot of 5241 Independence Avenue, in Riverdale; BKSK is designing.

BROOKLYN:

1679 East 19th Street: Modern Standard Development has filed applications to construct an eight-story and 21-unit residential building of 31,039 square feet at 1679 East 19th Street, in northern Sheepshead Bay; an existing two-story structure was approved for demolition in August, and Igor Zaslavskiy is designing.

533 Albany Avenue: An anonymous LLC has filed applications for a six-story and nine-unit mixed-use building of 10,381 square feet at the vacant lot of 533 Albany Street, in northern East Flatbush; Sion Hourizadeh is designing.

74-10 Broadway: An anonymous LLC has filed applications to construct a seven-story and 10-unit mixed-use building totaling 20,217 square feet — including 7,530 square feet of commercial space — at 74-10 Broadway, in Elmhurst; the site’s two-story predecessor had been demolished in June, and Sion Hourizadeh is designing.

26-14 28th Street: An anonymous LLC has filed applications to construct a five-story and 11-unit residential building of nearly 10,900 square feet at 26-14 28th Street, in Astoria; an existing two-story structure was approved for demolition in June, and CB Engineers is the architect of record.

133-11 20th Avenue: 1407 Ventures LLC has filed applications for a single-story and 9,000 square-foot commercial building to be built at a surface lot within 133-11 20th Street, in College Point; SBLM is designing.

28-07 215th Place: Applications have been filed for a two-story and single-family mansion of 5,092 square feet at 28-07 215th Place, in Bayside; an existing two-story structure must first be demolished, and Frank Petruso is designing.

45-41 162nd Street: Laludia Management Inc. has filed applications to construct an additional three-story and two-unit mixed-use building of 3,589 square feet at the vacant lot of 45-35 162nd Street, in East Flushing; filings for four other buildings were filed in June.

44 West 11th Road: Applications have been filed for a two-story and single-family abode of 1,249 square feet at 44 West 11th Street, in Broad Channel; a single-story structure must first be demolished.
