317 East 61st Street: NYC DOT has filed applications for a single-story and 1,325 square-foot utility building at 317 East 61st Street, under an elevated roadway, on the Upper East Side.

BROOKLYN:

1409 West 7th Street: An LLC has filed applications for a three-story and six-unit mixed-use building totaling 8,257 square feet at 1409-1411 West 7th Street, in Bensonhurst. The site’s two-story predecessor was demolished earlier this month, and Shiming Tam is designing.

86 Brighton 1st Place: An LLC has filed applications for a three-story and 3,577 square-foot commercial building at 86 Brighton 1st Place, in Brighton Beach; demolition of an existing two-story structure began in June.

791A Barbey Street: Applications have been filed for a three-story and two-unit residential building of 3,022 square feet at the vacant lot of 791A Barbey Street, in East New York.

QUEENS:

87-65 171st Street: Applications have been filed to begin construction of an eight-story and 31-unit residential building of 22,728 square feet at the vacant lots of 87-65 – 87-69 171st Street, in Downtown Jamaica; the site’s two-story predecessor was demolished in 2003, and M. S. Savani is designing.
