644 East 14th Street: Filed last year, building applications have been granted for Rabsky Group’s planned 15-story, 50-unit mixed-use residential-commercial-community building to span 644-652 East 14th Street, in the East Village. Karl Fischer is designing the nearly 61,800 square-foot tower, and the existing single-story structure was approved for demolition last June.

420 Kent Avenue: Spitzer Enterprises has filed applications for an additional towering structure rising 16 stories and containing 200 residential units, as well as nearly 2,900 square feet of retail space, to span the vacant lots of 416-418 Kent Avenue, in Williamsburg. Last month, filings were submitted for a 22-story, 270-unit structure at 420-428 Kent; ODA is designing.

35-27 Junction Boulevard: Applications have been filed for a single-story, 7,500 square-foot commercial building at 35-27 Junction Boulevard, in North Corona. Dal Chun Engineer is the architect on file, and an existing gas station must first be removed.

112-37 Springfield Boulevard: Applications have been filed for a second single-story, 3,400 square-foot commercial building for the lot of 112-41 Springfield Boulevard, in southern Queens Village. A building of the same size was recently filed at No. 112-37, and an existing single-story structure must first be demolished.
