31-57 31st Street [Brownstoner]: Filed last year, renderings have now been released for a planned seven-story, 114-unit mixed-use building to span the lots of 31-51 – 31-75 31st Street, in central Astoria. Treeline, and Glenmont Capital are developing, and completion is scheduled for late 2016.
1044 Bedford Avenue [Curbed]: Renderings have surfaced of the planned seven-story, 24-unit residential building — to measure 16,335 square feet — at 1044 Bedford Avenue, in western Bedford-Stuyvesant. The site’s two-story predecessor was demolished in 2013, and the new building is set to be delivered “in 2016.”
450 11th Avenue [The Real Deal]: David Marx “is planning to break ground next year” on a 39-story, 438-room hotel measuring 213,300 square feet at 450 11th Avenue, on the Far West Side. A slew of single-story structures must first be demolished, and bonus air-rights have yet to be purchased.
50 Clinton Street [Bowery Boogie]: Demolition has begun on the existing single-story structure spanning 50-62 Clinton Street, on the Lower East Side, to make way for DHA Capital’s seven-story, 37-unit residential building. A completion date has yet to be disclosed.
227 Clarkson Avenue [DNAinfo]: Brookland Capital has acquired the 4,584 square-foot vacant lot of 227 Clarkson Avenue, in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, for $1.35 million, and “plans to build condos.” Roughly 11,300 square feet of mixed-use building potential exists.
34-32 35th Street [Brownstoner]: Excavation is proceeding at the site of SDS Procida’s seven-story, 33-unit residential building — dubbed The Marx — and located at 34-32 35th Street, in Astoria. Completion is scheduled for early 2016.
