607 West 161st Street [DNAinfo]: Sutton Management is constructing a 62-unit residential building — which will include 13 affordable units — at 605-607 West 161st Street, in southern Washington Heights. Construction is above street level, and completion is expected by 2016.
792 Classon Avenue [Curbed]: Applications have been approved for a six-story, eight-unit residential building measuring nearly 7,800 square feet at the vacant lot of 792 Classon Avenue, in western Crown Heights. Dario Architecture & Design is the architect of record.
280 Metropolitan Avenue [Curbed]: The six-story, 28-condo-unit mixed-use building under development at 280 Metropolitan Avenue, in Williamsburg, has debuted a teaser site ahead of the project’s sales launch. CB Developers and SK Development are developing, and Garrison Architects is designing.
180 Maiden Lane [Wall Street Journal]: MHP Real Estate Services is currently spending $28 million to renovate the 42-story office building at 180 Maiden Lane, in the Financial District. A 26,000 square-foot “glass-enclosed plaza” is expected with the renovations, and “work is scheduled to be completed by mid-September.”
4 Downing Street [Brownstoner]: Barrett Design & Development has launched sales and a teaser site for the four-story, eight-unit residential conversion at 4 Downing Street, in southern Clinton Hill. 8 Downing is a new construction building by the same developer, and will contain two residential units. Completion is expected later this year.
40-40 27th Street [The Court Square Blog]: Steel is being erected at 40-40 27th Street, in Long Island City, where a nine-story, 70-key hotel measuring nearly 25,000 square feet is planned. Completion is expected next winter, and Ameriland Brook LLC is the architect of record.
