Crain’s Business reports the China-based Fosun Group, partnered with JD Carlisle, is planning to develop a 47-story, 180-unit luxury condominium building at 126 Madison Avenue, in Midtown South close to NoMad. Handel Architects is designing the roughly 350,000 square-foot, 800-foot-tall tower, and completion is expected by 2018. Gachot Studios is in charge of interior designs, and multiple low-rise structures must first be demolished.
