Earlier this month, YIMBY brought you news of Hudson Companies’ planned 39-unit affordable building at 1045 Fulton Street, in southern Clinton Hill, and now Curbed has renderings of the project, designed by Marvel Architects. Renderings depict an eight-story building, although applications have not yet been filed with the DOB. The site has been cleared of former buildings.
The same developer and architect are also responsible for a 75-unit affordable building at 911 Atlantic Avenue, in southern Clinton Hill, which Curbed has renderings of. The building appears to be nine or 10 stories in height, and two three-story tenement buildings and a two-story structure must first be demolished.
Both properties will serve as off-site affordable housing for the redevelopment of the Brooklyn Heights Library at 280 Cadman Plaza West. That building will hold 139 condos, ground floor retail and the 21,500-square-foot new library.
