Brooklyn-based Deutsch Equity has filed applications for a two four-story, seven-unit residential building at 242-244 Hawthorne Street, in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, right around the corner from the Winthrop Street stop on the 2 and 5 trains. Each building will measure 5,896 square feet in total, and residential space across both buildings will total 9,296 square feet. That means units will average a rental-sized 664 square feet apiece. Rego Park-based Diego Aguilera is the architect of record, and an existing 2.5-story home was filed for demolition earlier this month.
