Property owner Jashimi Rassel, doing business as an anonymous Jamaica Estate-based company, has filed applications for a single-story, 7,447-square-foot commercial-retail building at 122-06 Merrick Boulevard, in St. Albans, Queens. It will contain retail stores. There will also be 10 off-street parking spaces. Cherico King’s Long Island City-based architectural firm is the architect of record. The 12,906-square-foot property, at the corner of Merrick and Baisley boulevards, is currently occupied by a small auto repair shop. Demolition permits haven’t been filed.
