Construction is now five stories above street level on the 29-story, 399-key Courtyard hotel under development at 461 West 34th Street, located on the corner of Tenth Avenue in Hudson Yards. The latest photo of the structure was posted to the YIMBY Forums. The most recent building applications indicate the project will encompass 218,640 square feet and rise 312 feet to its roof, not including the bulkhead.
Retail space will occupy parts of the ground floor. Hotel rooms will be located from the second through 28th floors, not including the 15th floor. Marx Development Group is the developer and DSM Design Group is the architect. Completion is expected next year.

Now the structure is lower the neighborhood, but someday 29-story will be taller them as a hotel.
They built this hotel, 29 story as by “pumping concrete” up to the forms, without tower crane, as many concrete made high rises in New York City, below 400 feet. This is one of fastest method of construction in New York City, and tallest structures built by this method is 42 story hotel in west 40 street just across Port Authority, and Gold #2 38 stories residential in Downtown Brooklyn/Ft Greene neighborhood.
Btw 42 stories hotel across Port Authority is one of ugliest structure ever built in NYC, side to 8th Ave is windowless, and the whole building looks like oversized elevator shaft for future metal constructions of floors on the sides. BUT UNFORTUNATELY, this is finished structure. But this hotel in Hudson Yards district, just across former closed MC Donald, who is developing to future supertall tower 50 of Hudson Yards, while this side of Tenth ave is more low rise, tallest structures here is 23 story residential few blooks north and 18 story hotel/residential? just next door from this quickly going up 29 stories.
Nice looking hotel, have much better looks, than 27 story Riu Times Square on 8th Ave, and under construction hotel, 27 stories, on the corner of 9th ave and 42nd street.
