In the spring of 2015, Thor Equities entered into contract for the development site at 176 Bedford Avenue, located on the corner of North 7th Street in North Williamsburg. The developer has since closed on the property for $30 million. The developer plans to build a two-story, 14,500-square-foot commercial-retail building.

Retail space will be located across the cellar, ground, and second floors, Brownstoner reported. The project will rise 30 feet above street level and contain a 2,500-square-foot rooftop terrace. Flatiron District-based Fradkin & McAplin Architects is behind the design. A construction timeline wasn’t disclosed, but it appears foundation work is already underway.
