Permits filed detail a new, 17-story mixed-use structure coming to Flushing, Queens. Located at 144-49 Northern Boulevard, plans also include the demolition of a neighboring two-story commercial building, which was scheduled to begin on April 12, 2018.
The new building will comprise 213,270 square feet, with 132 condominiums, a community facility, and commercial area. The condo portion of the building will occupy 116,127 square feet with residences measuring approximately 880 square feet each.
The remaining area will be split between a 48,318 square foot community facility, and 48,825 square feet of commercial area. An enclosed parking structure will also introduce 489 new parking spaces to Flushing’s congested corridor along Northern Boulevard.

Please pardon me for using your space: Before you go please read and comment.
What a shocker, the Asian developers ran out of space on Main street so now the same trend is spiking out east on Northern Blvd. already there is a over 5 buildings going up from Northern & Main all the way to 146th creating further congestion and ugly building designs with lack of upkeep and cleanliness…. Just a questions once you hit 149th st.which has a zoning limiting it to only 2 floor commercial space, where are you going to go? 25A in that section is already bumper to bumper during rush hours let alone this…..what a shithole of a neighborhood!
