Permits have been filed for a three-story residential building at 106-23 Guy R. Brewer Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens, a neighborhood that’s experiencing some major new development. The site is six blocks away from the Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer subway station, end of the line for E, J, and Z trains. Manuel Mayancela of J & D Carrying and Construction Corp is listed as responsible for the development.

The 30-foot tall building will yield 4,000 square feet, with 3,500 square feet dedicated to residential use. Four apartments will be created, averaging 875 square feet apiece, which could mean condominiums or rentals. A commercial space will be included on the ground floor. Three parking spaces will be made available for residents.

BCD Consultant is listed as responsible for the design.

The lot is vacant, meaning construction can start as soon as permits are approved. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
