Permits have been pre-filed for a seven-story residential building at 639 Foster Avenue in Kensington, Brooklyn. The site is nine blocks from the 18th Avenue subway station, serviced by the F train. Ten blocks away is the Newkirk Plaza subway station, serviced by the B and Q trains. Solomon Feder of Key Developers NY is listed as responsible for the development.

The 63-foot tall structure will yield 15,609 square feet, with 13,860 square feet dedicated to residential use. 22 apartments will be created, averaging 630 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Tenants will have access to12 bicycle parking spaces, and a rooftop terrace.
2 parking spaces will be included in the structure.

Jose Lockhart of Tecnico Engineering will be responsible for the design.

Demolition permits for the existing two-story structure were filed earlier this month. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
