Rudin Management has nearly completed its modernization of lobby and entry areas at 55 Broad Street in Downtown Manhattan. Originally completed in 1967, the building’s new lobby, reception, and security areas are designed by Fogarty Finger Architecture.
“In working with Fogarty Finger, we created a lobby that merges the coolness of marble and a modern design with classic, warm details,” Senior Vice President Samantha Rudin told YIMBY. “Tenants and visitors alike will be welcomed into a space that is both new and timeless.”
To that effect, new treatments will include white marble interiors, terrazzo and marble flooring, a reflective ceiling to help magnify light within the entry space, as well as security upgrades and expanded reception seating.
The renovation project kicked-off in February 2018 and is expected to wrap up by the first quarter of next year.

This had been redesigned I wonder how much it cost the management. Hey I could have done the same look but I would charged way less. I wonder what the original looked like I bet it looked better then this BORING lobby. Did I mention that its SLEEP INDUCING.
