Permits Filed For Three-Story Office Building At 29 Carlton Avenue In Fort Greene, Brooklyn

A new three-story commercial office building is coming to 29 Carlton Avenue in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Located in between Flushing Avenue and Park Avenue, the site sits close to the Brooklyn Navy Yard to the north and Downtown Brooklyn to the west.

The new building will cover 1,851 square feet, stand 39 feet tall and include a basement. The structure is being designed by Joseph Smerina of New York Design Architects, LLP, while the developer is listed as Jude Bernard.

The current site is a vacant plot of land among several one-story garages and low rise buildings along Carlton Avenue and the surrounding streets. Demolition and activity on the site has not yet commenced.

No construction and completion date for the project has been announced yet along with a proposed design for the new commercial office building.
