Permits have been filed for a five-story mixed-use building at 915 56th Street, in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Located between 9th Avenue and Fort Hamilton Parkway, the site is relatively close to numerous subway stations. Within half a mile is the N train at both Ft. Hamilton Parkway and 8th Avenue, as well as the D train at 50th Street. Hai Qin Lin of 915-56 LDHQ Realty LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The steel-based structure will yield 12,665 square feet, with 6,714 square feet for residential space and 2,681 square feet for a community facility. Only seven units will be created, averaging 959 square feet each, indicating the possibility of condominiums. The 55-foot tall building will also have a rear yard 40 feet long on the interior of the block.

Fran Huang of HPL Engineering P.C. is listed as the architect of record.

No demolition permits have been filed as of yet for two-family home from 1915 currently on the lot. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
