Permits have been filed for a four-story drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility at 750 East 160th Street in Melrose, The Bronx. Located on the corner of Forest Avenue and East 160th Street, the lot is three blocks west of the Prospect Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Argus Community is listed as the owner behind the applications. The nonprofit works with the homeless community to heal substance abuse and mental health issues.

The proposed 60-foot tall development will yield a total of 121,541 square feet designated for community facilities space. Details of the rehabilitation facility include sleeping rooms, a cellar and a side yard 85 feet long. Kosta Koulouris of Posen Architects is responsible for the design.

No demolition permits have been filed for three-story school currently on the site, built in 1938. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
