Permits have been filed for an eight-story apartment building at 722 East 216th Street in Williamsbridge, The Bronx. Located between White Plains Road and Barnes Avenue, the lot is three blocks south of the 219th Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Kim Tasher under the SKF Development LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 74-foot-tall development will yield 55,100 square feet, with 45,158 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 66 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 684 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 39-foot-long rear yard.

Mohammad Badaly of Badaly Architect is responsible for the design.

Demolition permits were filed last month for the two-story house on the lot. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
