Permits have been filed for a three-story community facility building at 3025 Avenue U in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. Located between Coyle Street and Ford Street, the corner lot is closest to the Avenue U subway station, serviced by the Q train. Anatoly Grinshteyn of BWH Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 35-foot-tall development will yield 19,870 square feet, with 11,285 square feet designated for community facility space and 8,585 square feet for commercial space. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and 29 enclosed parking spaces.

Felix Pustylnik is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. My eyes began to open as I rolled onto your report with words, I looked around the project knowing where you were. The memories of the development stated to a three-story community facility building, so it came flooding on first to final sentence which sent adrenaline coursing through my happiness awake.     The “Q” train is located on Avenue U between East 15 & 16th Streets which is not close to the proposed building. The B3 bus services Avenue U between Bensonhurst & Mill Basin.
