Permits have been filed for a four-story apartment building at 348 43rd Street in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Located between Third Avenue and Fourth Avenue, the interior lot is two blocks north of the 45th Street subway station, serviced by the N and R trains. Jinzhuo Chen is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 49-foot-tall development will yield 5,040 square feet, with 4,000 square feet designated for residential space. It will have six residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 666 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, rooftop, and a 47-foot-long rear yard.
Xiongcai Gu of Just Consulting Engineers is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in March of this year. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
