Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 648 Midwood Street in Wingate, Brooklyn. Located between Albany Avenue and Troy Avenue, the lot is eight blocks southeast of the Sterling Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Yedid Builders is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 9,500 square feet, with 7,913 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 791 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and penthouse.
Shmuel Wieder of S. Wieder Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
