Permits have been filed for a seven-story community facility building at 461 East New York Avenue in Wingate, Brooklyn. Located between Lincoln Road and Brooklyn Avenue, the interior lot is a couple blocks from the Sterling Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Tolib Mansurov under the 461 ENY LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Details are not clear but it appears the proposed 85-foot-tall development will be built on combined lots. The permit filing calls for a total 19,766 square feet, with 15,621 square feet designated for community facility space. The concrete-based structure will also have 56 residential units, however it’s unknown how much space will be allotted to the residences.
Alexander Zhitnik of Z Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in May 2019. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
