Permits have been filed for a 14-story hotel at 21 Park Place in Tribeca, Manhattan. Located between Broadway and Church Street, the lot is steps away from the Park Place subway station, serviced by the 2 and 3 trains. Also nearby are the A and C trains at Chambers Street station and the R and W trains at City Hall. Tom Grainger is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 151-foot-tall development will also yield 19,079 square feet of commercial space over 11 units, with an average unit scope of 1,734 square feet. The concrete-based structure will have a cellar and a 20-foot-long rear yard.

Michael Gadaleta of MG New York Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in December of last year after the front half of the building’s roof collapsed, causing a progressive collapse of the floors below. An estimated completion date has not been announced for the new hotel.

  1. Treat it as important as a hotel with 14-story, developer can’t be ignored on its work. So time when your reported actions will be judged by Google Maps, though I have not seen design. (Thanks to YIMBY)
