The outside of the 1-million-square-foot building will be covered in 358,538 square feet of glass, the equivalent of over six football fields. Levels 64 through 67 will include one- to four-bedrooms and the penthouses.

Fitness and wellness amenities will include a 75-foot-long, temperature controlled indoor swimming pool, a spa with his-and-her locker rooms, a sauna and steam room, a fitness center, massage room, private yoga and Pilates classes, aquatic fitness lessons, and group weight and cardio classes. Business support comes with messengers, couriers, and office organizing assistance. There will also be a pet care service that comes with a pet spa, dog walking and daycare, grooming, behavioral training, and veterinary house calls. Premium concierge services will come with move-in assistance, housekeeping, house office tech support, furniture assistance, in-home chefs and catering, in-home salon services, personal shopping, and travel and transportation planning assistance.

Rounding out the list of amenities are a children’s playroom, a laundry room, a third-floor common space with a business center, a landscaped outdoor terrace on the fifth floor, a secondary residential lounge with a demonstration kitchen, a private parking garage, storage units, a bicycle storage room that is capable of storing over 400 bicycles, and a doorman and concierge service.

  1. So Brooklyn point will hold the title of tallest building in the outer boroughs for maybe a year, and then begins to countdown till 9 Dekalb surpasses this building.

Brooklyn Point is not so tall, these two new Skyscrapers in Queens will surpass it soon, but not a 9 Decalb. Btw they are both planned to be over 900 feet tall, but FAA limited height for them to maximum 780 feet. 800 feet over sea level.

    It’s just another glass box.

    • Another glass boxes indeed.
Well, we could just substitute “big” for “little”
in Malvina Reynold’s song entitled “Little Boxes”:
      Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes made of ticky tacky,
      Little boxes on the hillside,
      Little boxes all the same.
There’s a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one,
And they’re all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.

And the people in the houses
      All went to the university,
Where they were put in boxes
And they came out all the same,
And there’s a doctor and lawyer,
      And business executives,
And they’re all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.

And they all play on the golf course
      And drink their martinis dry,
And they all have pretty children
And the children go to school,
And the children go to summer camp
      And then to the university,
Where they are put in boxes
And they come out all the same.

And the boys go into business
And marry and raise a family
In boxes made of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.
There’s a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one,
And they’re all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.

So, David in Bushwick and stan chaz is the same names and views, the both are Democratic Socialist, both are destructive NIMBYism, both are sole pure anticapitalist, nice comrades now let’s join others in Hell!!!

Then go to rural Ohio stan chaz with your NIMBYism, but leave NYC for YIMBY and let’s more world class Skyscrapers built here!!!

stan chaz, yes, it’s better to raise up in small rural communities in suburbs, and live there, where is sun is only blocked by tall trees, not tall buildings, but also when you need to go to the nearest drugstore or grocery you must drive to them, is this your paradise, then why you don’t live there, and stop being so NIMBYist, anticapitalist, because in Socialism reality will be no real suburbia, more everyone will be lived in poorly constructed panel flats, like pigs, buying necessities in small supermarkets, often bare empty of them too, with nice bare empty shelves and long lines for each daily basic things. Everyone will be looking exhausted in dirty often smelly clothes, with poor hygiene, because even soap will be bare necessities what missed in store shelves. Outside of stores street gangs will rob you at knife point from your purchase and purse, and car keys, who you left find anyway with broken windows and often with stolen tires and side mirrors, don’t worry a Socialist style trolleybus stop is nearby, and you waiting there 45 minutes for just find that Trolleybus have their parts stolen in their Depot, so next one will be in hour or more, exhausted you walk at already darker streets, no lamp post, somebody steal wires and light bulbs, and finally you tired and almost get your home, but then group of drunken men and women beat you up on the head taken your last change and unused Trolleybus monthly pass. Welcome to Socialist suburbia town with no Skyscrapers!!!

    • He who already has a home (in this case probably mostly paid-for my by his landlord) are first to make fun of everyone who does not have one yet. Is that a liberal or conservative value? I’m not sure in NY any more.

Shush Comrade, the enemy hear your voice and plans…
The Enemy within us, surround us, you must take vacation, I suggest to go to Cuba or Venezuela to see what’s going on there.
The latter destination is more preferred for you, but stay there for one month and live outside the Zone Hoteliero… I’m assure that upon return to NY you will be pro-capitalist!!!

So for you comrades, unfinished red bricks or bare concrete panels but poorly painted will be better, yes of course this is exact architecture from Socialism Epoch, bare concrete panels, sea of them in similar copycat 5 story or 9 story buildings in Great Soviet Union Empire all over, they want to bring such “paradise” all over the World after winning WW3!!!
Thanks God they are collapsed and now these architectural “gems” of your beloved Socialism is removed!!!

  3. I don’t even want the know what the monthlies will be here!

  4. I like this – not every development needs to be amazing, the volume is important. Architectural gems are not the norm, they’re the spice. LIC will truly arrive the day the CITI sign comes off the tower next door.

  5. An eyesore.
