Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 38 Bay Street in St. George, Staten Island. Located between Slosson Terrace and Hyatt Street, the lot is near the St. George Ferry Terminal. Xiong Lin under the 32 Bay LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 85-foot-tall development will yield 66,172 square feet, with 37,926 square feet designated for residential space and 4,562 square feet for commercial use. The building will have 49 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,004 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 50 enclosed parking spaces.

Raymond Chan Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed this month. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
